Electronic Lock

Overview:

The electronic lock will restrict your line to toll free calls when activated.

  Calls to Midland and Odessa including 911 are still available.

  All calls that would normally incur a charge are blocked (including 1411). 

To Activate:  

            1.  Pick up the receiver, hear normal dialtone

            2.  Dial  *72

            3.  Dial your electronic lock password (stuttered dialtone heard)

            4.  Hang up the receiver (Lock is now activated) 

To Deactivate:

            1.  Pick up the receiver, hear normal dialtone

            2.  Dial  *73

            3.  Dial your electronic lock password (stuttered dialtone heard)

            4.  Hang up the receiver (you are now free to make long distance calls) 

To Change Electronic Lock Password:  

            1.  Pick up the receiver, hear normal dialtone

            2.  Dial  *74

            3.  Dial your existing electronic lock password (dialtone heard)

            4.  Dial new password (dialtone heard)

            5.  Dial new password again to confirm (stuttered dialtone heard)

            NOTE:  Password must be exactly 5 digits long.
